Nato da un'idea del designer Gianni Misto e curato dalla storica dell'arte Alice Rendon, il progetto collettivo Wearing INSEN presenta sette visioni individuali, parafrasi dell'opera musicale che le ha ispirate, Insen (2005), l'album frutto della collaborazione tra Alva Noto e Ryūichi Sakamoto.
Sette designer del gioiello e orafi traducono gli stimoli uditivi dell'album in opere da indossare, trasformando l'esperienza da sonora a visiva, tattile e interattiva.

Born from an idea by designer Gianni Misto and curated by art historian Alice Rendon, the collective project Wearing INSEN presents seven individual visions, paraphrases of the musical work that inspired them: Insen (2005), the album resulting from the collaboration between Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Seven jewelry designers and goldsmiths translate the auditory stimuli of the album into wearable works, transforming the experience from sonic to visual, tactile, and interactive.

Collana Nuvole Tracciate

Una composizione musicale che prende forma materica, dove il silenzio e il suono si intrecciano come fili di alluminio nero a sostenere nuvole di vetro satinato.
Questa collana traduce in oggetto indossabile l'essenza eterea e minimale di INSEN: ogni elemento in vetro traslucido è una nota sospesa, un respiro sonoro che fluttua nello spazio. I fili scuri creano la struttura ritmica, mentre le forme organiche e levigate del vetro catturano la luce come frequenze elettroniche.
È un gioiello-scultura che materializza l'immaterialità del suono, trasformando una traccia musicale in nuvole tangibili, poesia visiva che evoca la stessa atmosfera contemplativa e sospesa nel tempo.

Necklace Nuvole Tracciate - Track Clouds
A musical composition taking material form, where silence and sound intertwine like black aluminum wires supporting clouds of frosted glass.
This necklace translates the ethereal and minimalist essence of INSEN into a wearable object: each translucent glass element is a suspended note, a sonic breath floating in space. The dark wires create the rhythmic structure, while the organic, smooth shapes of the glass capture light like electronic frequencies.
It is a piece of sculptural jewelry that materializes the immateriality of sound, transforming a musical track into tangible clouds—visual poetry that evokes the same contemplative, suspended-in-time atmosphere.

Collana CODICE ROMANTICO CREPUSCOLARE

Ispirata alle atmosfere minimaliste e malinconiche di Ryuichi Sakamoto, questa collana traduce in forma materica la bellezza dell'imperfezione e del silenzio.
Il ciondolo, simile a una nuvola di memorie, unisce pizzo nero con velature in trasparenza, attraversate da cuciture a vista che sigillano un segreto invisibile. La struttura in fili neri si dipana come una partitura sospesa, evocando la delicatezza raw delle composizioni di Sakamoto: un gioiello che indossa l'eleganza crepuscolare della musica fatta oggetto.

Inspired by the minimalist and melancholic atmospheres of Ryuichi Sakamoto, this necklace translates the beauty of imperfection and silence into tangible form.
The pendant, like a cloud of memories, combines black lace with translucent veils, intersected by visible stitching that seals an invisible secret. The structure of black threads unfurls like a suspended musical score, evoking the raw delicacy of Sakamoto’s compositions: a jewel that wears the twilight elegance of music transformed into an object.

Come in INSEN, dove Sakamoto esplora la bellezza impermanente e le sfumature del silenzio, questa spilla traduce in forma tattile le frazioni di una partitura invisibile.
Una nuvola di pizzo nero e velature traslucide prende forma, attraversata da cuciture a vista che segnano il tempo sospeso. I fili che si dipanano evocano note che cadono nel vuoto, mentre al centro una pietra grezza custodisce l'essenza del suono: imperfetta, effimera, eterna.
Un gioiello che indossa la poesia decostruita del maestro giapponese.

Brooch FRAZIONI SONORE - SOUND FRACTIONS

As in INSEN, where Sakamoto explores impermanent beauty and the nuances of silence, this brooch translates the fractions of an invisible musical score into tactile form.
A cloud of black lace and translucent veils takes shape, traversed by visible stitches that mark suspended time. The unraveling threads evoke notes falling into the void, while at the center a raw stone guards the essence of sound: imperfect, ephemeral, eternal.
A jewel that wears the deconstructed poetry of the Japanese master.
